Regional Education System Quality Assessment Project

The project aimed to support evidence-informed decision-making and the development of education policies, ensuring the availability of reliable, integrated and contextualised information on the functioning and performance of the education system.

It was based on the development of a comprehensive evaluation framework, combining external evaluation processes with school self-evaluation practices. This integrated approach fostered a culture of quality, accountability and continuous improvement, encouraging organisational and cultural change across schools, as well as the active participation of the educational community.

It also contributed to the recognition and dissemination of good practices, the strengthening of institutional credibility and alignment with national and international evaluation frameworks, supporting comparative analysis and the exchange of knowledge.

A key added value of the project lay in the development and implementation of an integrated evaluation model, based on close collaboration with schools and on the capacity-building of local actors, particularly through targeted training initiatives.
