Curriculum Monitor

The project aimed to analyse the curriculum projects developed by schools within the ESCXEL Network, examining how these documents are conceived, mobilised and used as strategic tools for curriculum management.

It was based on the development of analytical and diagnostic models, enabling the production of scientific knowledge on curriculum organisation, development and policies, in articulation with national and international frameworks.

Drawing on a contextualised curriculum management approach, the project highlighted the role of schools and teachers as active agents in adapting the curriculum to local contexts, fostering reflective practices, self-evaluation and collaborative work.

A key added value of the project lay in the development of operational models to support schools, namely a framework for the design of school curriculum projects and a model for articulating different strategic documents, thereby strengthening the coherence and effectiveness of curriculum planning and implementation processes.
