Good Practices in the Reception of Immigrant Students: The TurAC Project in Action

The reception and inclusion of immigrant students are among the most significant challenges currently facing education systems. In this context, the TurAC – Integration Classes Project, developed within the ESCXEL Network, seeks to support schools in designing organisational and pedagogical responses that foster students' integration, educational success and full participation in school life.

This seminar will provide a forum for reflection on the principles, implementation and preliminary outcomes of the TurAC Project, promoting discussion of reception strategies, inclusive pedagogical practices and organisational models developed across different educational settings. Bringing together researchers, teachers and other education professionals, the seminar will examine enabling factors, implementation challenges and the transferability of the project, contributing to the dissemination of knowledge and good practices in the fields of intercultural education and inclusive schooling. This approach is fully aligned with the aims and content of the seminar.
