Learning Contexts in the Classroom with Artificial Intelligence

Following the interest generated by the first edition, the ESCXEL Network is offering a new edition of this Short Training Course, dedicated to the integration of Artificial Intelligence into teaching and learning.

The growing use of AI in education is transforming the way teachers plan, teach, differentiate and assess learning, creating new opportunities for pedagogical innovation and personalised learning. At the same time, it raises important challenges related to the ethical and responsible use of these technologies, the redefinition of assessment practices, and the development of critical competences among both teachers and students.

Across three online sessions, participants will explore strategies for integrating AI into classroom practice in a critical, informed and pedagogically meaningful way, organised around three key themes:

• More meaningful learning contexts – designing authentic, differentiated and learner-centred educational experiences.
• Pedagogical innovation and professional efficiency – using AI to support lesson planning, resource development, feedback and the monitoring of learning.
• Ethics, assessment and AI literacy – reflecting on privacy, academic integrity, critical thinking and the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence in educational settings.
