Biographical Note

Holds a PhD in Sociology from NOVA University Lisbon, a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Social Inequalities, and a degree in Sociology. She is an Assistant Professor at Egas Moniz – School of Health and Science and an integrated researcher at CICS.NOVA – Interdisciplinary Centre for Social Sciences. Her work focuses on education policy, local educational planning and the monitoring of school success. She has been involved in the development of Municipal Education Charters and Strategic Education Plans, as well as in research and cooperation projects with municipalities and educational communities, including ESCXEL – Network of Schools of Excellence.
