Biographical Note

Holds a degree in Sociology and a Master’s degree in Sociology, specialising in Knowledge, Education and Society (NOVA FCSH), and is currently a PhD candidate in Globalisation Studies (NOVA FCSH / IPRI – Portuguese Institute of International Relations). She is a collaborating researcher at EDUNOVA.ISPA and a researcher in the ESCXEL – Network of Schools of Excellence. She has also been involved in the Education Atlas project, developed in partnership with EPIS – Entrepreneurs for Social Inclusion, and has contributed to the development of Municipal Strategic Education Plans and second-generation Municipal Education Charters. She was an Invited Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology at NOVA FCSH between the 2012/2013 and 2020/2021 academic years.

She was awarded two NOVA FCSH Merit and Excellence Awards: Best Bachelor’s Student (2011/2012) and Best Master’s Student (2014/2015).
